1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Romascript platform (“Service”), operated by ResearchRoma (“ResearchRoma”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms of Service. These Terms define the legal framework governing access, usage, and responsibilities associated with the platform. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updates or revisions made to these Terms.
2. Service Description and License

ResearchRoma grants users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for lawful research-related purposes. The platform and its features may evolve over time, and ResearchRoma reserves the right to modify functionality, suspend features, or enhance tools without prior notice.
3. Account Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate registration information and maintain updated account credentials at all times. Each account is intended for authorised personnel only, and sharing login access without permission is prohibited. Users are responsible for safeguarding passwords, maintaining system security, and ensuring that any activity carried out through their account complies with applicable regulations and organisational policies.
4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
The Service may not be used for unlawful activities, distribution of spam, transmission of malicious software, or actions that infringe intellectual property rights. Users must ensure that survey content complies with ethical research standards and local data protection laws. ResearchRoma reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate acceptable use guidelines.
5. API and Platform Integrations
Romascript may allow integrations through APIs or third-party tools to enable extended functionality. Users must ensure that integrations do not compromise data security, system performance, or compliance requirements. Excessive API calls, automated scraping, or system abuse may result in restricted access or termination of integration privileges.
6. Payments and Commercial Terms
All commercial arrangements, including project-based fees, hosting charges, or enterprise subscriptions, will be governed by applicable invoices or contractual agreements issued by ResearchRoma. Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are non-refundable once execution has commenced. Users remain responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or transaction charges associated with platform usage.
7. Cancellation and Termination
ResearchRoma reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service where these Terms are breached, where misuse is detected, or where platform integrity may be compromised. Upon termination, access to certain data or functionalities may be restricted, subject to contractual and legal obligations.
8. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
All intellectual property rights relating to the Romascript platform, including design, software, workflows, and proprietary methodologies, remain the exclusive property of ResearchRoma. Clients and users retain ownership of their research data, survey responses, and uploaded content, provided that such content does not infringe third-party rights.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data processed through Romascript is handled in accordance with the Romascript Privacy Policy and applicable global data protection regulations. Users must ensure that participants provide appropriate consent where required and that surveys are conducted in compliance with ethical research practices.
